Sip back and discover the Brymbo Fossil Forest near Wrexham in North Wales, a uniquely preserved Carboniferous forest dating back 314 million years. Discovered beneath the former Brymbo Steelworks, the site reveals upright fossil trees, roots, coal seams and rare animal life. Opening in spring 2026, Stori Brymbo will offer tours, science led heritage experiences, and hands on access to a protected Site of Special Scientific Interest in North Wales.
